Christina Geiger was born in the District of Columbia and raised in Slidell, Louisiana. In 2012, she joined the Olde Towne neighborhood. In 2014, along with her family of a local merchant, Christina participated in the grassroots effort to organize what has now grown into the “Olde Towne Crawl”. In 2015, she contributed a monthly wellness article “Organically Speaking” to an Olde Towne publication. In 2016, she joined Main Street Slidell as an advisory member. In 2019, she was nominated and accepted as a voting board member. As a member of this board, Christina has been able to help facilitate events and projects that benefit Slidell’s historic downtown and the community within. Christina’s latest contribution to the Olde Towne community was her dedicated work to secure the vacant lot next to her business to be used as a new community garden space.
